There are so many things to love about the great state of Texas, but the variety of delicious food has to be at the top of your list. And it’s not just one specific thing, all the foods are represented in Texas and they’re all very well made. Texas Barbecue has obviously made a name for itself, but the seafood, Cajun dishes, and down-to-earth comfort food aren’t to be missed.

We could spend all day talking about all the delicious Mexican food options in the state of Texas. Because of this, I was shocked not to find a Mexican restaurant on the list of the oldest restaurants in the state of Texas.
