BOSTON – Applications are now being accepted Fallon Real Estate Entrepreneurship Youth Program, a free, six-week summer program that teaches Boston-area students ages 16 to 21 the fundamentals of the real estate industry.

The annual program, hosted by The Fallon Company and Street2Ivy, runs from July 9 to August 14 at Wentworth Institute of Technology and teaches students the fundamentals of commercial real estate investing, providing them with relevant industry skills while forging relationships with mentors from the Industry.

The program is a collaboration between The Fallon Company, a leading national real estate development company headquartered in Boston, and Street2Ivy, an entrepreneurial incubator focused on providing aspiring changemakers in underserved communities the tools and resources they need to to achieve economic strengthening. Participants learn critical skills for success in the commercial real estate industry, including identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting property valuations and market analysis, raising capital, and navigating the purchasing process.

“Our mission is to unlock the entrepreneurial promise for those who have been underestimated and made invisible, which is exemplified by this wonderful program,” said Tavares Brewington, founder of Street2Ivy. “Through our continued partnership with The Fallon Company, we have been able to introduce students to some of the leading experts in commercial real estate, providing them with the valuable knowledge and practical industry experience that could lead to promising future careers.”

The Fallon Company is a founding partner of the Real Estate Entrepreneurship Youth Program, consistent with the company’s commitment to promote equal and fair inclusion in all projects, provide greater philanthropic support to neglected and at-risk communities, and strengthen the pipeline of diverse real estate professionals.

“We are proud to partner with Street2Ivy to offer a program that opens doors for young people in our communities. Our goal is clear: to cultivate new talent in commercial real estate while supporting the economic growth of students and their neighborhoods,” said Michael Fallon, CEO of Fallon Company. “We believe this program is a stepping stone for participants to improve their economic prospects and meaningfully contribute to the diversity of the industry.”

The cohort will meet industry experts, tour some of Boston’s most exciting projects, and evaluate realistic investment opportunities. The program begins with a summer kickoff event on June 10 at the Boston Seaport, followed by twice-weekly evening classes for the duration of the six-week program.
