Gaby Windy and Rachel Recchiawho appeared first on Clayton Echard‘s season of The Bachelor, began their journey as the first Bachelorettes to star in a full season on Monday by meeting their 32 potential suitors — the most in the show’s history.

If you recall, Gabby, a 30-year-old intensive care unit nurse from Denver, and Rachel, a 25-year-old flight instructor from Clermont, Fla., were devastated when Clayton broke up with both at the same time after admitting that it belonged to him heart belonged Susie Evans. On Monday, however, Gabby and Rachel were ready to move on — even if it meant breaking all the rules on the first night.

Both the ladies and their suitors — including a pair of twins, a magician, a drag racer, and a meatball enthusiast — tried their best to figure out the logistics of dealing with so many men and two bachelorettes, in what turned out to be a daunting task. There just wasn’t enough time for the women to talk to every man in the allotted time.

Two men — Tinoa general contractor from California, and Marioa personal trainer from Illinois – were lucky enough to snag Rachel and Gabby’s first impression roses.

As for the others, the two Bachelorettes decided to bend the rules by first eliminating three of the men they could talk to but didn’t feel connected to. They are Robi, the magician from Los Angeles; and justin and Joeythe Connecticut twins.

The remaining men were told that Gabby and Rachel had canceled the first rose ceremony to give everyone a fair chance and they would all be moving on.
