Broad Ripple will get a new sports and entertainment offering in May when Fishers-based Stick & Hack opens a second location in the village. The multi-activity venue combines golf simulators, professional racing equipment, electronic darts, a full-service bar and an outdoor terrace, with local partners organizing the catering program. Organizers say the concept is intended for neighbors who want a relaxing evening without having to endure a long drive.

According to FOX59, the new Stick & Hack will land near the intersection of 46th Street and Winthrop Avenue in Broad Ripple, with an opening scheduled for May. “We wanted to build something that would fit and enrich Broad Ripple,” owner Adam Grubb told the station, saying guests could “compete against their friends” and “play a round of golf without leaving the neighborhood.” FOX59 reports that the Broad Ripple location will feature golf simulators, professional racing simulators, electronic darts, a full-service bar and outdoor seating.

Stick & Hack opened its first indoor golf club in Fishers in late 2025 and advertises memberships, leagues and hourly golf course bookings on the Stick & Hack website. The Fishers Club helped the brand build a local following around simulator leagues and lessons, and the Broad Ripple address will be its second physical outpost in the Indianapolis market. The company is currently working on finalizing the expansion details before the planned opening in the spring.

Size and permits

State construction records list a Stick & Hack project in Indianapolis with about 3,440 square feet of rental space and an estimated public occupancy of about 136 people, suggesting a compact floor plan that relies heavily on simulators. The submission (SBC project number 456623) was submitted in September and provides a glimpse into the expected configuration of the Broad Ripple interior. For those wishing to track permits, details are available in the state’s online project records.

Food and Drink

According to FOX59, Stick & Hack has partnered with Half Liter BBQ and Nino’s Pizza to manage the food program, combining simulators and racing machines with local comfort staples. Both operators are already familiar with Broad Ripple’s restaurant scene, and the partnership will keep the menu focused on neighborhood favorites rather than a generic national offering. The arrangement positions the venue as both a meeting point for the next round of games and a casual meeting place for groups and league nights.

Where is Broad Ripple?

Broad Ripple has been in a state of flux in recent years as older music and bar venues closed their doors and new concepts emerged to help with the evening crowds. Hoodline reported on a notable example as the Casba’s 40-year run came to an end, highlighting how the neighborhood’s nightlife has changed. The arrival of Stick & Hack points to a slightly different target for the village, targeting both weekday and early evening foot traffic as well as the traditional weekend crowds.

Stick & Hack says it will post opening day details and events calendar on the Stick & Hack website once construction is complete. Neighbors can expect more details in the coming weeks as the May schedule approaches and the company finalizes permits and programming.
