Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.
And to celebrate the day even more entertaining, Massachusetts residents can visit numerous locations throughout the Commonwealwealwealth that participate in celebrations on and around St. Patrick’s Day.
Here are some lucky specials for the upcoming holidays:
Anna’s offers corned beef and cabbage burritos filled with corned beef, cabbage, carrots, potatoes, hot or regular mustard, and cheese. The burritos will be available on March 17th. Customers can also pre-order to secure an order between March 14th and March 16th. The burritos will be available at their Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Newton and Somerville locations.
Champney’s in Deerfield is open on St Patrick’s Day from 4pm to 9pm with live Irish music by Debi Spyre from 6pm to 9pm. The restaurant is also adding some Irish specialty options to its menu, including:
- Colcannon croquettes
- Roasted spring lamb shank
- Corned Beef & Cabbage
- Banger & Mash
From March 1st through St Patrick’s Day, the pub will serve corned beef and cabbage for dinner every day, according to its Facebook page.
Located across from Fenway Park, customers can spend St. Patrick’s Day at the pub with live music and Guinness beer, the website says. They will also host live music from 10am, with the last act at 9pm
According to a statement from OAK Long Bar + Kitchen, guests can enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day special, served Thursday, March 17 through Sunday, March 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
The restaurant also offers a traditional combination of Angus beef and Guinness pie with Colcannon potatoes and Irish whiskey sauce, as well as a pint of Guinness for $27, the press release said.
This popular Worcester pub offers St. Patrick’s Day cocktails including Shamrock Sour Sipper, Irish Donkey and Green with Envy Martini, according to its website. For beer lovers, the pub offers a selection of Irish beers such as Guinness and Magner’s Irish Cider to name a few.
As part of the St Patrick’s Day specials, the pub serves a traditional corned beef and cabbage dinner each day. On Fridays and Saturdays only, the pub serves a fried prime rib au jus, as per the St Patrick’s Day menu on its website.
The pub was voted the best Irish pub in Massachusetts by Taste of Mass last year.
Nathan Bill’s will be celebrating this St. Patrick’s Day in a number of ways. According to their Facebook page, the pub is welcoming customers on March 17 for an Irish blessing with Father Frank of Holy Cross Parish direct to Nathan Bill. This event starts at 8am
Nathan Bill’s also has live Irish music from midday on St Patrick’s Day. You can even buy a $20 St. Patrick’s Day shirt at the restaurant.
The Springfield pub will host live music from the D Reed Band on St. Patrick’s Day from 1pm, the Facebook page says.
The Boston Pub will be serving St. Patrick’s Day specials from Wednesday, March 16 through Saturday, March 19, according to its website. The special features include:
- Corned Beef & Cheddar Fritters
- Irish dinner
- Bang & Mash
- caramel squares
