Northstar Project & Real Estate Services Announces Promotions of Four

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – North Stara real estate services firm that provides project management, development management and consulting services, announced the promotions of Nicholas Dunn, Chris Guilmet, Jim Hogan and Andy Touchette.

Nicholas Dunn was promoted to project manager. Nick has over four years of project work behind him
Management experience and has supported project teams in various phases of the project
Project life cycle including planning, construction management, completion and program
Management. He supports clients and projects in various industries, including corporate, residential, multifamily and commercial real estate. His portfolio
includes projects worth up to $220 million. Among the notable projects Nick leads is a major project
Financial services company in downtown Boston that supports development, design and
Construction of 65,000 square meters of tenant improvement commercial space and a branch in Cambridge
University in the development and construction of two entirely new student residences totaling 328,050 square feet to be operated by American Campus Communities (ACC).

Chris Guilmet was promoted to Senior Project Manager. Chris has three years of design and seven years of construction experience and has worked on various projects in the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. He has experience managing projects from design through construction management to closing. Most notably, Chris spent several years overseeing the MEP installation and commissioning of Sanofi’s new 500,000 SF research and development facility at its North American headquarters in Cambridge, MA. The project brings together over 50 departments in a state-of-the-art research facility, including tissue culture, robotics, chemistry, BSL2+ areas and vivarium space. Most recently, Chris worked on the Sanofi account, overseeing the modernization of labs and mechanical systems at the Waltham and Framingham locations.

Jim Hogan was promoted to assistant vice president. Jim has over 13 years of experience in the commercial building design and construction industry. His experience includes project management, construction administration and structural engineering on office, laboratory, residential and foundation construction projects. Jim has completed a 17-story mixed-use office tower in Kendall Square, completed a renovation of the MBTA Kendall Square/MIT MBTA Headhouse, provided equity advisory services for new construction residential projects on the East Coast, and is working on a 3 one-story lab project in Somerville, MA and a multiple air law project Towers in Boston, MA.

Andy Touchette was promoted to vice president. Andy has over thirteen years of senior-level project management and engineering experience assisting institutional, office and residential clients with capital, tenant improvement and development projects. His expertise spans all phases of the development process, including planning, permitting, design, construction management and closing. Andy’s recent portfolio includes a tenant buildout for new offices at a Back Bay private equity firm, consulting work for life sciences development clients, and several higher education projects including capital improvements and new construction of multiple apartments. Administrative and academic buildings. He has been with Northstar since 2014 and is a shareholder in the company.
