Nutter’s Real Estate Development Chair receives the 2023 Real Estate Attorney of the Year award.
BOSTON – Marianne Ajemian, chair of the real estate department and attorney at Nutter, has a reputation for being innovative, responsive and practical. She is a pioneer and has more than 30 years of experience advising local and national clients on complex transactions.
Ajemian was the first woman to serve on the company’s management committee, a position she held for nine years. Under her leadership, Nutter’s outstanding real estate practice has represented clients in real estate transactions in nearly every state. In 2022 alone, Nutter’s national real estate practice managed more than 310 commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions; oversaw permitting for more than 195 real estate developments; and managed more than 230 real estate loans valued at over $9 billion.
With a practice focused on representing clients locally and nationally in complex transactional matters, Ajemian represents financing institutions, real estate investment trusts, developers, real estate investors and advisors, pension fund advisors and their institutional investors, REITs, healthcare and senior housing companies, and nonprofit institutions.
