How to promote joint tiles | DIY home improvement
We recently did some work in the bathroom and one of the DIY projects we did were the tiles. I wanted to have it replaced, so we did it. As you know, I usually want to do everything myself, but this time I asked my husband a little for help. So we made the tiles for a weekend. I was curious how to promote tiles, so I decided that I would do it myself, and to my surprise it was super easy. Everyone can do it. So for all dear women out there who want to try it out, here is a quick and simple DIY tutorial to help you!
What you need in the joint tiles:
- Joint mass (follow the instructions of the container to prepare)
- Two buckets (for mortar and water)
- sponge
- Rubber water
- Taping knife
Step 1
Wet your sponge and dampen the area where you will apply the grout. The water smears the tile and helps him get scratches.
Step 2

Get some grout with your taping knife out of your bucket and place it on the surface that you will cover.
TIP: Fuck your tile section according to section. It would be best to work and continue on a 3’x3 ‘to 3’x4’ interface.
Step 3

Due your rubber water and spread the grout to fill the gaps of the tiles. Start a square each. Press them firmly and remove excess mortar by wiping the rubber swimmer at an angle. You can then apply the surplus to the surrounding tiles.
Step 4

Time to clean the mortar! Immerse yourself in the bucket of water and press out all water. Make sure it’s not that wet.
Step 5

Wipe the excess mortar off the other with one side of your sponge. Do not use the same side of the sponge so that you no longer put joint mortar on the surface that you have already cleaned.
TIP: Press hard when you wipe your sponge. This will help reduce the mortar line to the tile height.
Step 6

Repeat steps 1-5 until you have covered the entire area that must be darkened. And you’re done! Admire your manual work. Imagine how much you could save yourself!
