(Reuters) – Fisker Inc is looking to push into the emission credit market in the United States and has already signed a deal to sell credits to a major automaker, the electric car maker said on Tuesday.
It will also start U.S. deliveries of the all-electric Fisker Ocean SUV later this month, the company said.
Companies earn credits for exceeding emission reduction targets, which can then be sold to other firms that fall short.
