Branson, Missouri, known for its vibrant entertainment scene, is the chosen destination for an upcoming trip to the Mary Ann Young Center. This excursion is scheduled for April 21-25, 2025 and is designed to offer participants a mix of performances, delicious food and scenic views.
The trip begins with a bus ride to Kansas City. Attendees will be treated to lunch in Des Moines and dinner in Kansas City on Monday, April 21st. The next day promises to be a fast-paced dive into the heart of Branson’s theater scene with a performance of “The Amazing Acrobats of Shanghai” at 2 p.m. Guests can expect to fully immerse themselves in the local culture with dinner at Fall Creek Steak & Catfish House, followed by an evening show by “The Haygoods,” as noted in the itinerary released by the City of Blaine.
Wednesday, the third day, is dedicated to retail therapy and offers the opportunity to explore Grand Village Shops or Branson Landing. After lunch, guests are treated to Dolly Parton’s Stampede, which includes both a pre-show dinner and the main performance. The tour is proud to have a total of six shows on the schedule. Since the trip ends Thursday, guests still have the opportunity to see “The Grand Country Show” before beginning their return journey with stops for meals and a tour in Kansas City. On the last day, the group heads home and takes a final lunch break in Des Moines.
The price for this adventure is $1,685 for single occupancy or $1,375 per person for double occupancy. The first payment, half of the total cost, is due upon registration, with the remainder due by January 8, 2025. An important caveat for early registrants: no refunds will be issued after the January 8 deadline. Most meals during the trip are included, except for Wednesday lunch and all en-route snacks. Optional travel insurance is available through USI Affinity for those who want even more security on their trips. Those wishing to claim their spot can do so by calling the Mary Ann Young Center or visiting its website to register, as outlined in the city’s official posting.
