The home of the Hartford Yard Goats is a great place to catch a ball game, combining plenty of fun action on the Diamond with amenities that make this stadium a favorite for fans of all ages. Aside from baseball, there are plenty of giveaways and other promotions at this gem of a stadium. The nights that offer spectacular fireworks after the game are very popular.

The 6,121-seat ballpark in downtown Hartford has consistently drawn crowds for the Yard Goats, a minor league member of the Colorado Rockies, since it opened in 2017. In its inaugural year, it was named the nation’s best new stadium by, and fans will tell you it’s only gotten better since then. The park is the first three-time winner of Baseball Digest’s recognition as the top double-A stadium in the United States and has repeatedly led its league for highest attendance.

The park’s spacious halls offer beautiful views of the Hartford skyline and offer 360-degree views of the field, even as you visit the many concession stands, merchandise stores, or of course, the live goats behind center field at every home game. The goats, especially the babies, are a photo favorite with children of all ages, as is the roving pair of oversized fun, furry mascots Chompers and Chew Chew of the Yard Goats.

Speaking of chews, the food options at the park are home game, ranging from some delicious donut-centric treats due to its partnership with Dunkin (don’t miss the bacon-wrapped munchkins or the honey-sriracha-on-glazed fried chicken sandwich). donuts topped with a glazed munchkin) to unforgettable street corn on a stick, plain or coated in Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. There are even delicious vegan and plant-based options this season.
