In an exclusive video interview with the Boston Real Estate Times, Jeffrey Myers, Research Director at Colliers Boston, discusses key findings from his team’s first quarter 2022 report.

As director of research, Mr. Myers oversees research operations at Colliers’ Boston office. A 20-year industry veteran, Mr. Myers brings an extensive commercial real estate background that includes expertise in urban planning, market research, landlord representation and more.

Since joining Colliers in September 2021, he has focused on synthesizing real estate, demographic and economic variables to support agents and provide clients with strategic and actionable insights. In addition to tracking and analyzing relevant trends, Mr. Myers oversees the preparation of quarterly reports that highlight activity in the market.

Prior to joining Colliers, Mr. Myers held the position of Associate Director, Portfolio and Wealth Management for Massport, the port authority in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. During his time with the organization, he and his team managed over 9 million square feet of commercial real estate across 500 acres. Jeff has been heavily involved in lease negotiations, lease strategies, tenant relations and market research to help stakeholders by providing key information needed for their decision making processes.

Prior to joining Massport, Mr. Myers was a consultant and real estate economist at CoStar Portfolio Strategy for more than 11 years. There he developed extensive knowledge of the commercial real estate business as well as strong skills in client engagement and industry analysis. During his tenure at CoStar, Jeff provided strategic advice to institutional real estate investors across multiple sectors and geographies. Jeff also has experience in municipal urban planning in Indiana and Georgia.
