Brian Welch
BOSTON – Eastern Bank announced that Brian Welch has rejoined the organization as Senior Vice President, Team Leader in the Commercial Real Estate Division.
Mr. Welch’s career has included commercial real estate finance positions with a range of clients including public REITs, private equity funds and large mid-market developers. Earlier in his career, he held various roles including credit analyst and relationship manager at Eastern’s Commercial Real Estate Group.
“We are very pleased to welcome Brian back to Eastern,” said Matthew Osborne, executive vice president, senior commercial banking officer at Eastern Bank. “He has experience advising a number of real estate-related funds and REITs on a variety of credit and non-credit products and services, and we look forward to how his experience will complement our commercial real estate offering.”
Prior to joining Eastern, Mr. Welch worked at HSBC Bank as Senior Vice President, Team Leader, Commercial Real Estate in Boston, where he led a team dedicated to building and managing a complex multi-billion dollar portfolio of institutional commercial real estate clients was responsible. Previously, he was senior vice president at TD Bank, where he managed a multi-billion dollar portfolio of primarily institutional commercial real estate clients with a particular focus on public REITs and private equity funds. Mr. Welch, a resident of Braintree, MA, is a Director and Chair of the Real Estate Committee of Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation.
