A burger chain with overseas roots is opening its first location in Massachusetts and will be based in a northern Boston suburb.

According to an article in the Patch, Burgerim plans to open a store in Burlington (note – it will open on the Middlesex Marketplace, not the Burlington Mall as the Patch originally reported) with the restaurant that will serve “mini burgers”. which are slightly larger than the typical slider and can be ordered in two or three packs or a party pack of 16 pieces. (Burger options include beef, turkey, chicken, salmon, lamb, vegetables, and more.) Burgerim’s only New England location is in Brookfield, CT, although three more locations are scheduled to open in Connecticut and two in New Hampshire.

The patch says that Donna Tuchner originally founded the Burgerim chain in Israel, but has since sold the chain to an investor and is now headquartered in California.

The address of this new burger joint in Burlington is: Burgerim, 90 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, MA, 01803. The Burgerim website is at https://www.burgerim.com/

[January 8, 2020 update: Based on a Google search for the place, it looks like Burgerim could finally open in Burlington on January 15, though this has not been confirmed as of yet. (Thanks to a source for this.)]
