BOSTON – (BUSINESS WIRE) – May 17, 2021–

Aryeo, a Boston-based proptech startup that provides a platform to better manage, syndicate, and consume content in the real estate industry, announced today that it has seed capital led by Hyperplane VC and Amplo, with the participation of Contrary, Jon Oringer $ 3.65 million, founder of Shutterstock; and Bill Clerico, founder of WePay. Aryeo was founded in 2019 by Branick Weix, Matt Michalski and Brendan Quinlan with the aim of modernizing visual content in the real estate industry. The company provides agents, brokers, and photographers with software to help them create the most complete digital real estate experience. After a successful launch, the platform hosted content for more than 1% of all US home sales last year. Aryeo’s plans to use this latest round of funding and its inclusion in the prestigious National Association of REALTORS® REACH 2021 scale-up program to achieve wider adoption.

“Images, videos and 3D tours are essential to the real estate transaction, but the process by which this real estate content is generated, marketed and shared is remarkably fragmented,” said Branick Weix, co-founder and CEO of Aryeo, also a former real estate agent Photographer. “We built our platform to streamline this process and connect the dots for photographers, agents, brokers and buyers interested in content about real estate in the market.”

What began as a platform to better facilitate the relationship between photographers and agents has now expanded into an innovative platform with APIs focused on content hosting, automated marketing generation, and content syndication for agents and brokers.

“In this way, we can offer every key employee in the real estate marketing process a completely optimized experience,” explained Michalski, who was previously an aerial photographer and broker. “Aryeo automates the traditionally manual tasks of uploading photos, building property websites, and generating ads, saving everyone’s time.”

Today more than 30,000 brokers use the platform, along with hundreds of real estate photography firms. Notable features of the Aryeo platform include: business workflow software for real estate content creation; Marketing automation for real estate agents; and listing feed APIs for websites, MLSs, and real estate portals. Since its inception, many tech-savvy brokers have adopted content streamlining technology early on, such as 8z Real Estate in Colorado.

“All too often, agents and brokers rely on another party for their own data and don’t have a centralized system that stores all of the images, videos, 3D tours and floor plans for a property,” Quinlan said. “A lot of people don’t realize that by the time they get to the national real estate portals, real estate has been traversing a complex web that includes inconsistent data feeds, manual submissions, and disparate parties. This leads to poor media quality and often an incomplete representation of a house. “

Instead, Aryeo provides a central hub for agent or brokerage content and then helps syndicate that content where it’s needed. “We want MLSs and portals to offer all of the content of a home and provide buyers and sellers with the best digital representation of a property,” said Weix.

The CEO also noted that the global pandemic has only compounded the importance of pictures, videos, 3D tours, and floor plans when buying a home. Providing exceptional home displays on the internet has become a key to real estate marketing success. “The agents and brokers with the existing infrastructure to optimally manage and use visual content will emerge victorious in this new reality,” said Weix.

Vivjan Myrto, founder and managing partner of Hyperplane Venture Capital, said: “At Hyperplane we invest in exceptional early stage founders of growth companies who are solving company and industry challenges. Branick, Brendan and Matt saw an urgent need in the industry – to consolidate content in a highly fragmented market with multiple data sources – and then created a way to universally solve this problem with the Aryeo platform. “
