Anthony Genovese

NEEDHAM, MABialow real estatea national retail tenant representation and advisory firm, announced Anthony Genovese has joined the company as Vice President to launch the company’s presence in the Midwest this summer. Led by CEO Corey Bialow, the firm offers all of the traditional functions of an in-house real estate department on an outsourced basis.

Bialow Real Estate currently represents more than 50 different retail and restaurant chains in their regional or national expansion plans.

“Anthony’s successful career on both the landlord and tenant representation side of the negotiating table makes him an ideal choice to open our Chicago office,” said Corey Bialow, CEO of Bialow Real Estate. “As our national business continues to grow exponentially, his experience with premium brands extends our capabilities and flexibility to serve our customers across the country.”

Genovese joins the Bialow team from Brookfield Properties where he was Senior Director of the Retail Development team specializing in working with many emerging national and international brands new to the Brookfield portfolio such as Mackage, Gorjana, LEAP, Parachute Home, Boisson, Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Madison Reed, Purple, Shady Ray’s, Kid’s Empire and more. Genovese also directed and managed leasing efforts for Brookfield Properties’ high street properties in downtown Chicago along Michigan Avenue. He began his career on JLL’s tenant advocacy team in downtown Chicago, representing retailers such as Peter Millar (Gold Coast), Mozzarella Store (Michigan Avenue), Salon Lofts (City and Suburbs), Nic + Zoe, Reebok and many more.

Raised on Long Island, New York, he always had a passion for retail, which stemmed from his family business, Genovese Drug Stores, a leader in the drugstore industry. He now lives in Hinsdale, Illinois with his wife and children.
