It’s been a harrowing year for restaurants in Massachusetts. Due to a surge in COVID-19 infections, many restaurants had no choice but to shutter temporarily during the winter. But as the warm weather arrives — and after Gov. Charlie Baker lifted capacity caps on indoor dining — many restaurants are beginning to open back up again.
Reopening dates, dining options, reservation requirements, and hours of operation vary widely. The level of service each restaurant is offering is provided in this post, where possible. While not comprehensive (by all means, reach out with updates), here is a list of restaurants that have reopened recently, or have announced specific plans to reopen.
This roundup was initially published on April 7, 2021; it is updated as new information becomes available.
