It’s been a harrowing year for restaurants in Massachusetts. Due to a surge in COVID-19 infections, many restaurants had no choice but to shutter temporarily during the winter. But as the warm weather arrives — and after Gov. Charlie Baker lifted capacity caps on indoor dining — many restaurants are beginning to open back up again.

Reopening dates, dining options, reservation requirements, and hours of operation vary widely. The level of service each restaurant is offering is provided in this post, where possible. While not comprehensive (by all means, reach out with updates), here is a list of restaurants that have reopened recently, or have announced specific plans to reopen.

4th Wall Restaurant & Bar
228 Tremont St., Theater District, Boston

4th Wall reopened on February 2, according to an Instagram post. They’re open for indoor dining, takeout, and delivery seven days a week, until 2 a.m.

A&B Kitchen & Bar
101 Beverly St., West End, Boston

A&B reopened on March 23, and according to a Facebook post, they are installing patio heaters, adding back sidewalk dining, and have three large garage doors to create an open air dining space.

Atlántico, Grand Tour, and Select Oyster Bar
Atlántico, 600 Harrison Ave., South End, Boston; Grand Tour, 314 Newbury St., Back Bay, Boston; Select Oyster Bar, 50 Gloucester St., Back Bay, Boston

Atlántico, Grand Tour, and Select Oyster Bar all reopened on April 1. Atlantico’s cafe is open, and the main restaurant is serving dinner seven nights a week, and brunch on the weekends. Grand Tour’s Newbury Street patio is now open, according to its Instagram. Select Oyster Bar is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, and reservations can be made on OpenTable; it has a brand new street patio, as well.

Audubon
838 Beacon St., Fenway, Boston

Audubon has reopened for indoor dining, outdoor dining, and takeout.

Bar Mezzana, Black Lamb, and Shore Leave
Bar Mezzana, 360 Harrison Ave., South End, Boston; Black Lamb, 571 Tremont St., South End, Boston; Shore Leave, 11 William E. Mullins Way, South End, Boston

Bar Mezzana and Black Lamb both reopened on April 1. Reservations for Bar Mezzana can be made here; reservations for Black Lamb can be made here. Shore Leave remains closed at this time, but a post on its Instagram indicates it’s “planning a comeback for spring.”

Barra
23a Bow St., Somerville

Barra reopened on February 24th. It is open for (heated) patio dining, limited indoor dining, takeout, and delivery, according to its website.

Bistro Du Midi
272 Boylston St., Back Bay, Boston

Bistro Du Midi reopened on March 17, and is open Wednesday through Sunday for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Indoor dining is available.

The Blue Ox, Tonno Gloucester and Wakefield, and Prezza
The Blue Ox, 191 Oxford St., Lynn; Tonno, 2 Main St., Gloucester, and 175 North Ave., Wakefield; Prezza, 24 Fleet St., Boston

The Blue Ox, Tonno Gloucester and Wakefield, and Prezza have all reopened for indoor dining and takeout. Each expects to open for outdoor patio dining in April as well.

Brewer’s Tap & Table
256 Moody St., Waltham

This Moody Street haunt recently reopened, according to Instagram. Diners can reserve a table online through Zomato. Patio dining is also available.

Canary Square reopened for takeout and limited delivery on March 25. Orders can be placed on the restaurant’s website. Canary Square is not yet open for indoor dining or outdoor dining.

Cambridge Brewing Company
1 Kendall Square Bldg. 100, Cambridge

Cambridge Brewing Company reopened on February 18, and is open for indoor dining, outdoor dining, and takeout.

Cask n’ Flagon
62 Brookline Ave., Fenway, Boston

Cask n’ Flagon reopened its doors on March 19. It’s currently open for indoor dining and outdoor dining (specifically on its “mega patio,” in preparation for Fenway crowds).

Catalyst
300 Technology Sq., Kendall Square, Cambridge

Catalyst announced its reopening for May 3.

Ciao Bella
5 North Square, North End, Boston

Ciao Bella will reopen on April 8, according to its website, just in time for spring and summer patio season.

Cityside Tavern
1960 Beacon St., Brighton, MA 02135

Cityside Tavern reopened on February 5, and is offering indoor dining, outdoor dining, and takeout.

Coppersmith
40 West 3rd St., South Boston, Boston

Coppersmith reopened on March 11. Indoor dining is available, and it will be bringing back its pop-up outdoor area on the ground level, as well as its rooftop lounge. Takeout and delivery are available.

Cunard Tavern
24 Orleans St., Boston, MA 02128

Cunard Tavern has reopened for indoor dining, rooftop dining, takeout, and delivery.

Daddy Jones
525 Medford St., Magoun Square, Somerville

Outdoor dining is now open at Daddy Jones, according to its website. The restaurant is also taking same day reservations for its backyard patio. Not currently offering indoor dining.

Daedalus
45 Mt. Auburn St., Harvard Square, Cambridge

Daedalus is coming out of hibernation on April 7. Both indoor and outdoor dining will be available.

Dali
415 Washington St., Somerville

Dali posted a reopening announcement on its website, which states: “Welcome back, as of Wednesday, April 7, to indoor/outdoor patio dining, Wednesday – Sunday, from 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Please view details on the information page. Reservations will open as of April 1.”

Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen
604 Columbus Ave., South End, Boston

Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen reopened for dinner service, Wednesday through Sunday. See its website for more details on live music, entertainment, and reservation/fee requirements.

Delux Cafe

This perfect neighborhood joint reopened for indoor dining and takeout on March 17.

The Derby
189 Washington St., Salem

The Derby reopened on March 8, and is available for indoor dining and takeout.

Dorchester Brewing Co.

Dorchester Brewing Co. returned on March 1, and is open for indoor and outdoor service, along with takeout options. M&M BBQ is also open inside the brewery.

Dos Diablos and Two Saints Tavern
52 Gainsborough St., Fenway/Symphony, Boston

Two Saints Tavern reopened on March 8, while Dos Diablos remains closed. According to its Instagram, the Two Saints Tavern patio is open, and available on a first come, first served basis.

Fenway Johnnie’s and West End Johnnie’s
